Installation of odour barriers on roads
  1. A project of the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic, which was implemented on 20 sections of traffic accident clusters due to collisions with wildlife, where odour fences were installed for a total length of 12 km.
    When: 2014-2017, where: all over the Czech Republic, purpose: development of biodegradable carrier BIO10.
  2. Installation of a scent fence on the D8 section of SSÚD Řehlovice.
    When: 2016-2019, where: Ústí nad Labem region, intention: protection of drivers from collisions with wild boars.
  3. Installation of a scent fence in the context of the localisation of the African swine fever (ASF) outbreak in the Zlín Region with a total length of 47.7 km.
    When: 2017-2019, where: the Zlín Region, purpose: eradication of African swine fever (ASF).
  4. Implementation of the "Pilot project for the installation of the Smell Fence Evidence System on the section D7, EXIT 7 Makotřasy - EXIT 18 Knovíz''.
    When: 2021-2025, Where: Central Bohemia Region, Purpose: to demonstrate the durability of the BIO10 carrier, the effectiveness of the odour control agent and the reduction of traffic accidents due to collisions with wildlife.
