Saving the lives of thousands of fawns during fawning season becomes a mission for hunters, farmers and volunteers every year. The Scented Fawn Fence is up to 100% effective in saving fawns.
The concentrate of the deer scent fence prevents fawns from laying their young in the areas of the planned haying.
Preventive protection is carried out until 15 April, when the does select the places where they lay their fawns. The odour fence is designed to prevent this in the areas where the haying will take place. The set of the odour concentrate for fawn protection contains 6 pieces of the odour concentrate and 450 pieces of the ecological carrier of the odour substance BIO10-S.
In the event that no preventive treatment has been carried out and haying is planned, the so-called scenting of the entire area is carried out by applying the deer protection scent fence using a long tube directly on the ground 1 to 3 days before haying. This method is nature-friendly and does not restrict the animals in any way. The concentrate imitates the smell of a predator and the deer assess the place as dangerous and take the fawn away.
